Out on the track is where real support makes a difference

We’re a 4WD community that meets people where the camp chairs and camaraderie already are, making it easier to open up about the things that are often left unsaid.

How we show up

With trained Mental Health First Aiders, honest conversations and a crew that has your back, we show up for everything from a quick chat at the next event to a full weekend away.

Trackside Assist

We turn up to 4WD shows, adventure expos and outdoor events with a drop-in tent. No appointment needed. Come by for a chat, ask a question, or just say gday to someone trained to listen.

Mental health first aid training

We train leaders, club members and workplace teams to recognise when a mate is doing it tough, and what to say next. Delivered by a licensed trainer with genuine outdoor experience.

Nature retreats

We run day and weekend retreats for our community. Time around the campfire, away from the noise, built around connection to nature, to others and to yourself.

Wellbeing workshops

Hands-on sessions for clubs, community groups and organisations, run outdoors where we can. Sometimes the best place to talk about mental health is standing in it.
Trackwell started as a program built for men. Today we welcome men, women and families across Australia's outdoor and adventure communities, because everyone deserves the chance to thrive, not just survive.

How to get involved

There's more than one way to get involved with Trackwell. It doesn’t have to mean signing up to anything big. Pick whichever way suits you.

Why Trackwell?

Trackwell started in 2021 as Inner Man Adventures, one bloke offering other blokes a reason to get outdoors, connect with nature, and connect with each other. Founder Wayne Krueger knows that path firsthand.

Four years and a growing community later, it was clear the work needed to reach further. In 2025, Trackwell Australia was registered as a not-for-profit charity, carrying the same heart into a bigger arena: outdoor expos, adventure clubs, workplaces and communities across the country.

Throw a log on the fire

Come say gday at the next event and watch Trackside Assist do its thing, or chuck in a donation and help keep the fire burning.

Backed by real experience

Trackwell is run by a dedicated group of people who've trained as Mental Health First Aiders, giving them the skills to support others. Many of them are on their own mental health journeys. It's a team with a real connection to nature and each other, and a shared passion for 4WDing.

Founder Wayne Krueger has walked this track himself. A career spanning 27 years in construction and mining leadership before founding Trackwell, and now works as a licensed Mental Health First Aid Trainer.

Trackwell Australia is a registered not-for-profit charity, doing real work with a crew who love what they do.

What Trackwell's meant to people so far.

"Raising awareness and normalising conversations around mental health issues is vital. There needs to be more of it."

Trackside Assist attendee

"There were both useful and significant learnings for participants. Wayne's presentation and leadership through some tricky issues was commendable."
